Meet Gia - From a Life in Concrete Yards to a Hopeful New Beginning
Found living in a semi-derelict house with 30 other dogs, Gia was so timid she stayed in the background, too frightened to compete for food and water during the lady who rescued her, weekly visits.
This is what her foster mummy has to say:
Gia is a sweet, gentle girl who touched my heart when I met her in a Romanian yard. She desperately wanted attention but was overshadowed by more confident dogs. In just a few days with me, she’s become braver every day.
Gia loves her food but isn’t greedy and has taken a liking to the men in my house, despite never having seen men before. She also really enjoys her walks and is finding out the joys of being able to sniff! Gia is also showing her superstar skills with her recall, basic commands and housetraining.
Although still shy this little girl has a beautiful personality waiting to be revealed. She so appreciates home comforts and in her own way she thanks us for what we have done for her.
Gia would be happy as an only dog or living with calm companions. She would be particularly suited to a retired adopter. She is now ready to start the next and final stage of her journey. She just needs her forever family to find her.
